Polyacrylamide PA 350 is a polyacrylamide-based polyelectrolyte, which is used to improve fiber and ash retention in papermaking. Polyacrylamide PA 350 has a synergistic effect in combination with other additives like coagulants and fixation aids.

Application：

Polyacrylamide  PA 350 are delivered in powder form and must be dissolved in water before use (dissolving equipment needed). Preferably a 0.3 to 0.5% stock solution, which is diluted to about a tenth of its original concentration before dosage to the paper machine. The time needed for dissolving is 30-60 min. Purified water at 20-40℃ is recommended for make down and dilution.

Polyacrylamide  PA 350 is normally added just before the head box. The dosage is commonly 100- 500 g/t paper. To achieve maximum efficiency, dosing is recommended after the pressure screens, where the flocks are submitted to a minimum of shearing force. More accurate dosing levels and best polymer types can be found by lab experiments and trials.
