Description
This product is a cationic cook-up tapioca starch which is designed especially for the highly closed and anionic system in the papermaking industry as a wet end dry strength, production aid and retention additive. Also enhances printability of non-surface treated paper grades.
Application
Tapioca Starch 858 must be cooked to be effective. It is recommended that starch cooked at 4% solid maximum at 90-95oC for 30min with batch cooker OR 6% maximum with continuous jet cooker at 115-120oC. The final cooking parameter has to be depending on the final starch cooking quality under microscopic observation.
