RD 1688 is Cationic starch for paper making wet end application. This product is made of high quality potato raw material, introducing cationic charge. High degree of substitution. It is suitable for high speed paper machine to make fine paper. This starch is added in pulp, which can improve the binding strength between fibers and improve the paper physical properties, it also can improve the retention of fine fibers and ash. In addition, the product can be used in ASA emulsification, to enhance the effectiveness of ASA Sizing.

How to Use:
Batch cooking: add a certain amount of water to the gelatinizing pot, start the blender, add the right amount cationic starch, concentration controlled at 5%, stir evenly, slowly heat up (2-3℃ per minute) to 95℃, keep the temperature for 10-20 minutes. After cooking, pump into the storage tank, adjust to 1% concentration with clean water, and ready for use. 
Jet cooker cooking: cooking temperature 105-135 ℃, slurry concentration max.@10%, paper machine adding concentration 2.5%.
